The United States of America is one of the largest countries of the world. It consists of 50 independent states which have a lot to offer to its visitors. Every year millions of people from all over the world come to visit the USA. The reasons can vary, of course. Some come to study English, some to find an interesting job, but the majority of visitors are attracted to its sights. There are lots of places and things to see in the USA, so a week or two wouldn’t be enough to see all places of interest. Besides the USA is quite a remote country for many other world countries and continents. For example, to reach it from Russia takes a whole day on a plane. 

So, most people, who wish to see the places of interest in the USA, try to spend at least a month there travelling from state to state. And it’s a wise decision, because it’s worth it. One of the main places people want to visit is the capital of the USA, Washington D.C. It’s a small city of mainly political importance and the White House is situated there. Other cities worth visiting are New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Philadelphia, Boston, and many others. All the mentioned cities have a lot to offer. For example, New York is the largest city of the country and one can see many skyscrapers in this city. Philadelphia is the city where the Declaration of Independence was signed and the main sight of the city is the Liberty Bell. Both Las Vegas and Atlantic City are world famous with its numerous casinos and entertainment facilities. 

The largest and the most prestigious university of America is situated in Boston. It’s Harvard. Los Angeles is the home of Hollywood. Other than that, all tourists of the USA want to see the Niagara Falls and the Great Lakes, and also to swim in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.

 Сполучені Штати Америки є однією з найбільших країн світу. Вони складаються з 50 незалежних штатів, які можуть багато чого запропонувати своїм гостям. Щорічно мільйони людей з усього світу приїжджають в США. Причини, звичайно ж, можуть бути різними. Деякі приїжджають для вивчення англійської мови, деякі, щоб знайти цікаву роботу, але більшість відвідувачів привертають його визначні пам'ятки. Є багато місць і речей, які варто побачити у США, так що тижня або двох, не було б достатньо, щоб побачити всі визначні пам'ятки. Крім того, США є досить далекою країною для багатьох інших країн світу і континентів. Наприклад, щоб дістатися туди з Росії, це займає цілий день на літаку. 

Таким чином, більшість людей, які хочуть побачити пам'ятки США, намагаються провести, принаймні, місяць там, подорожуючи зі штату в штат. І це мудре рішення, бо воно того варте. Одним з головних місць, яке люди хочуть відвідати - це столиця США, Вашингтон, округ Колумбія. Це невелике містечко, в основному політичного значення, і Білий дім знаходиться там. Інші міста, які варто відвідати, це Нью-Йорк, Лос-Анджелес, Лас-Вегас, Атлантик-Сіті, Філадельфія, Бостон і багато інших. Всі згадані міста можуть щось запропонувати. Наприклад, Нью-Йорк є найбільшим містом країни, і в цьому місті можна побачити безліч хмарочосів. Філадельфія це місто, де була підписана Декларація Незалежності, і головною визначною пам'яткою міста є Дзвін Свободи. Обидва міста Лас-Вегас і Атлантік-Сіті, всесвітньо відомі своїми численними казино і розважальними закладами. 

Найбільший і найпрестижніший університет в Америці знаходиться в Бостоні. Це Гарвард. Лос-Анджелес є місцем розташування Голлівуду. Крім цього, всі туристи в США хочуть побачити Ніагарський водоспад і Великі озера, а також скупатися в Атлантичному і Тихому океанах.
